"I bought this to expand storage capacity on my 2021 M1 iMac and to have a dock so I can transfer files between SD cards, external portable SSDs, etc. more quickly. This does the job well. It was easy to put together, just a couple screws. I also put in a new SSD (I used the PNY 4TB CS3040 SSD) and it is working well. My only small aesthetic complaint is I wish there were more colors to match iMac colors and I kind of wish it had more USB-C ports instead of USB 3. Not a big deal tough and I love it so far."
